A plain-language overview of the agreement for using Spec Stormer, written while the product is in early access. It does not replace your own legal advice.
Who you are contracting with
Spec Stormer is provided by De Groot Diensten (KVK 76220826), the Netherlands ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
Early-access service
Spec Stormer is a paid, early-access (MVP-stage) utility for drafting and refining plans. The product, limits, models, workflows, voice features, and pricing may change while the service is being built, tested, and improved.
Eligibility and your account
You must be legally able to create an account and use paid digital services in your country. Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and stay responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
Do not use Spec Stormer for unlawful, infringing, or abusive purposes, and do not attempt to break, overload, or circumvent its security or usage limits. Do not submit confidential, regulated, illegal, or other people's personal data unless you have the right to do so.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you submit and create. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service — including storing your content and sharing the minimum necessary with the processors and AI providers described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions to process your content this way.
AI output is a draft, not advice
Plans, questions, scores, comments, walk-session output, and chat proposals are AI-assisted drafts and may be wrong or incomplete. They are not professional advice. You must review output before relying on it for production, legal, financial, medical, safety-sensitive, or customer-facing decisions.
Billing, renewal, and the right of withdrawal
A subscription grants the included monthly projects and AI calls shown in the product, and renews automatically until you cancel through the Stripe billing portal. Prices and tax details are shown at checkout before payment. Unless mandatory law says otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable, including for unused projects, AI calls, or partial billing periods. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund amounts already paid. Mandatory consumer withdrawal and refund rights continue to apply where they cannot legally be waived.
Suspension and termination
You can cancel at any time through the billing portal. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, abuse, non-payment, or where required for legal or operational reasons. Export your plans before cancelling, as access ends when the account closes.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for decisions made on AI output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for Spec Stormer in the 12 months before the claim, except where law does not allow that limit. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, intent or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes are subject to the competent courts in the Netherlands unless mandatory consumer law gives you another forum. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings under the law of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will change the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer, privacy, payment, or data-protection rights. Where mandatory law conflicts with these terms, mandatory law controls and the remaining terms continue to apply.
